Designer Philip Booth grew up watching sparks fly in his father’s tool and die shop, and he’s since made a serious name for himself from his own in Ithaca, Michigan. Surrounded by everyday carry folders replete with drop point blades, Philip decided to crumple up the go-to blueprint and make something totally different. Enter: the Ripsnort. This model is equipped with a black POM handle and a satin finished sheepsfoot blade. The CRKT Ripsnort was designed by Philip Booth to be the antithesis of delicate. With a beefy cleaver blade and a solid full-size handle this heavy duty folder can handle and difficult cutting task. Despite the tough build, the Ripsnort remains compact and easy to carry with a streamlined design. A stout tip-down pocket clip rounds out the stellar design.
