The Ultimate Skincare Routine for Fall

With leaves falling, temperatures dropping, and breezes blowing, there’s no denying that fall is officially here, and you know what that means…
Winter is just around the corner.
Whether you’re all for a winter wonderland or you’re partial to warm sunny days, there’s no way to escape the impending weather change. 
And so, with that in mind, we want to share with you the ultimate skincare routine for fall. 
Not only will your skin look and feel radiant all season long, you’ll also be prepping your skin for the harsh, dry, cold winter. 
Sound good? Follow this skincare routine for an instant boost in radiance this winter. 
Step 1: Cleanse 
If there’s one skincare step everyone should be doing, it’s cleansing. 
Getting rid of the buildup of oil, dirt, and makeup from your day is absolutely essential to a skincare routine. 
In particular, for fall, we highly recommend trying out a soothing micellar water as your cleanser. 
With the cool temperatures and dry air, the last thing you want to do is add any harsh, moisture stripping cleansers to your routine. A micellar water will help you avoid this. 
Not only is a micellar water extremely gentle, it also helps maintain your skin’s natural moisture barrier, while seamlessly cleansing your face. No scrubbing required!
Step 2: Tone
Adding a toner to your skincare routine is a step that many people forget and/or skip over, but with winter coming, we highly recommend you don’t fall into this trap. 
A good toner will keep your skin hydrated, while also balancing out your skin’s PH level, which helps maintain a clear and radiant glow. 
Seriously, who doesn’t want a clear and radiant glow? If you’re all about your glow, get yourself a hydrating toner today. 
Step 3: Moisturize 
Moisture is a key component for a cold weather skincare routine. 
Not only is dry, irritated skin much more prone to breakouts, it’s also much more challenging to put makeup on. 
If you’re looking for a good moisturizer for the cooler weather, look for something that is formulated for sensitive skin. Even if you don’t think you have particularly sensitive skin, everyone’s skin is always a little more sensitive in the cold weather. A moisturizer formulated for sensitive skin can help ease some of that irritation. 
Step 4: Serum + Jade Roll 
A hydrating moisturizer is great, but in the cooler months, we also highly recommend adding a serum to your skincare routine. For example, argan oil or jajoba oil both work great as natural options. 
In addition, to help work the product into your skin, we always suggest trying out a jade roller for best results. 
Bonus: Hydrating Mask 
Lastly, because the colder weather can be such a stressful time for your skin, you might want to try adding a hydrating mask to your routine. Sheet mask, overnight mask, or even a gentle exfoliating mask, whatever the case, you won’t be disappointed with this skincare addition.
